Jaime Chinchilla

Jaime is thrilled to take the stage in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Offstage, Jaime enjoys deep-diving into ancient myths, philosophy, and practical projects. Special thanks to the director, cast, crew and family for their endless support. Enjoy the show!

Cathy Hofmann

Cathy is excited to be in her first production with Valley Repertory. She has previously been seen in several productions with Merced Shakes, including Much Ado About Nothing, King John, Dr. Faustus, and The Tempest. She has been enjoying rediscovering Shakespeare and the theater as an adult.

Sandra Hay

Sandra is always looking for opportunities to engage in performing. Since retiring from teaching elementary school for nearly 40 years, Sandra has started the Perennial Players program in Merced. Most recently she performed as DePinna in You Can’t Take It With You. She also recently performed in Sound of Waves as Trey, and played Higgins in Miss You Like Hell. She also directed and performed in Calendar Girls, and performed in Men on Boats as Old Shady and as Peter Quince in Merced Shakespearefest’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. She was also in Playhouse Merced’s production of Sister Act, where she played the rapping nun, Sister Mary Lazarus.

Aléta Mascorro

Aléta is a multi-hyphenate theatre actor, director, and dramaturg who is excited to be making her debut at Valley Repertory Theatre. Some of her recent collaborations include playing multiple community members in The Laramie Project at Merced College, Night Watch #1 in Much Ado About Nothing with Merced Shakespearefest, and directing Dina & Patrina in Prospect Theater Project’s Second Annual One-Act Play Festival. She would like to thank Erin and Casey for this wonderful opportunity, as well as the cast and crew for being incredible to work with, and you, dear patron, for supporting live theatre. Faye Wilde

Faye is thrilled to be part of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, her favorite Shakespeare show! Formerly known as Faith Ernst, she has a Bachelor’s from Jessup University and is earning her Master’s from Regent University—both in theatre. She is a SPED teacher, stage manager and acting coach at Center Stage Kids, and freelance photographer. Faye thanks Valley Repertory Theater for this opportunity!

Elizabeth Dodd

Elizabeth is excited to make her straight play debut at the Gaslight Theater under the direction of Erin Day. Just last year, she starred in her first Shakespeare play, Love’s Labour’s Lost, as Lady Maria with PTP, directed by the fabulous Laura Dickinson-Turner. Her other credits include To Kill a Mockingbird with GCRC, Karen in PTP’s radio cavalcade Shop Around the Corner, and Hunchback of Notre Dame with the late great Michael Lynch at MJC. Her musical credits include Jekyll and Hyde, Bye Bye Birdie, A Chorus Line, and an original musical by Jay McElroy called “Those Who Can’t”, performed at the Gaslight. She enjoys watching plays/musicals, leisurely walks, outdoor concerts, acting in short films, reading, writing and singing. Elizabeth would like to dedicate this performance to her loved ones and teachers who, because of them, make all this possible. Enjoy the show!!

Kyle Holman

Kyle is very happy to be returning to Valley Repertory in William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Kyle previously worked with Valley Repertory in their 2025 production of Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park in the role of Paul Bratter. In Merced, he has worked with Playhouse Merced, Merced Shakespearefest, Phoenix Creative Collective, and Perennial Players. In his hometown of Modesto, Kyle has also worked in productions with Prospect Theater Project, Center Stage Conservatory, YES Company, and the Modesto Junior College Theatre Department. Kyle is overjoyed to take part in one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies with Valley Rep’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He would love to thank his family and friends for being in his life each step of the way, and the delightful team of artists that make up this wondrously magical cast and creative team. Megan Brown

Megan is a Modesto local. She received her BFA in acting at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2022. Highlights from her acting career include The Da Vinci Code, Sweat, and Born Yesterday. Megan is thankful for the continuous support of her friends and family as she pursues her passion for performing. She’s thrilled to be joining the Valley Repertory family. Enjoy the show!

Shelby Baker

This is Shelby’s 4th production with Valley Rep. You may have seen her in the roles of Zanya, Corie Bratter, or Masha. She has acted in a variety of Shakespeare plays at CSU Stanislaus, where she graduated and studied theater. She is excited to play Petra Quince in Midsummer Night’s Dream. The most rewarding thing about this production is having the opportunity to act on stage with her 2 children, Devi and Ishaan. Seeing them shine on stage for their first production will be a memory she will forever cherish. Fun fact about Shelby: she is a total Shakespeare nerd and has a Twelfth Night tattoo.

Torrin Alexander

Torrin (he/they) is happy to be playing with Valley Repertory! Although he is new to this theatre company, he actually had his acting debut here in this theatre as a fairy in Narnia when he was only 7 years old. Previously, they have been seen in The Little Mermaid as Scuttle at Playhouse Merced and in numerous productions with LightBox Theatre Company, the CSU Stanislaus Theatre Department, and Opera Modesto. They have also taken on many other production roles in the past, including backstage hand, mic tech, and stage management. In Torrin’s spare time, he can be found attempting to befriend the neighborhood cats or singing at a local karaoke bar. Thank you for supporting local theater!

Aidan Mook

Aidan is excited to be in his first show with Valley Repertory, and his second ever Shakespeare production. He recently made his Shakespeare debut as Ferdinand in Merced Shakes’ The Tempest, and is thrilled to be jumping immediately into his next one. He would like to thank his cast mates and crew for making this show a truly wonderful experience.

Edward Tavizon

Edward (he/him) is thrilled to be making his debut with Valley Repertory. He has helped backstage on four theatre productions for Modesto Junior College in the past. This is his first play and he is very happy to be a part of creating something amazing. Edward would like to thank his theatre professors and peers for believing in him.

Adam Lincoln Lane

Adam was born in Merced, California in 1985. He works as a photographer and filmmaker and previously was a graduate of the Licensed Vocational Nursing program at Merced College. He holds 9 years of experience in the medical field. He enjoys writing, playing the guitar, singing, and all things comedy. Since 2025 Adam has performed in multiple Valley Repertory Theater shows at the Denair Gaslight Theater, including Any Number Can Die, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, and Jane Austen in West Hollywood. Adam thanks Valley Repertory Theater, director Erin Day, his cat Luna and his boyfriend David.

Chad Roslan

Chad is an actor, playwright, and student at CSU Stanislaus. His recent stage credits include Balaga in Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, Jacob in Oblivion and Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing. Drawn to bold, complex characters, Chad particularly enjoys work that combines heightened language, humor, and emotional depth. After eight years serving as a U.S. Navy submarine nuclear electrician, he returned to school at CSU Stanislaus to pursue a BA in Theatre. His work ranges from Shakespeare, contemporary drama, musical theatre, and original productions, with a growing interest in voice performance and playwriting. He continues to develop his craft as an actor while seeking challenging roles that allow him to explore compelling stories and the unique connection created between performers and audiences.

Emily Fishburn

Emily is delighted to be making her Valley Repertory Theater debut as Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She most recently appeared as Belle in A Christmas Carol with Modesto Performing Arts. Some of her favorite past roles include Beth March in Little Women and Raja Englanderova in I Never Saw Another Butterfly. Emily is grateful to the dedicated VRT team for bringing this captivating production to life and for the continued support of her family, friends, and partner. The Queen of the Fairies welcomes you to our enchanted forest: “Out of this wood do not desire to go!”

Mikaela Heisler

Mikaela has finally taken a break from obsessively tracking down every film adaptation of The Wind in the Willows, and has fumbled into Fairyland for a debut appearance on the Valley Repertory stage. Previous such fumblings include acting in Twisted Tales of Edgar Allan Poe as the Tell-Tale Heart Murderer at GCRC, Doubt as Sister James at Playhouse Merced, and Silent Sky as Annie Cannon at CSU Stanislaus. When not flailing about onstage, Mikaela may be found researching sea cucumbers far too thoroughly, drawing truly questionable amounts of cyclopes, pacing for hours on end, hiking the wilds, or returning time and time again to that age-old question: in Disneyland’s Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, why do you, the rider, die and go to hell? The world may never know. Though Mikaela foolish mortal may be, returns to stage plays ere long you shall see!

Makena Early

Makena is so excited to be working again with Valley Repertory Theatre. Some of her past shows include Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike with Valley Repertory Theatre, Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812 with CSU Stanislaus, The Winter Wonderettes with Gallo Center Repertory Company, and Blithe Spirit with Modesto Junior College. Ambrose Mac

Ambrose is an accomplished fight director, choreographer, and performer with over twenty years of training in historic martial arts. She began integrating her knowledge into stunts and screen violence in 2017, quickly transitioning to stage work. In 2019, she made her theatrical debut performing and choreographing sword fights in Henry V (Center Stage Conservatory). Since then, Ambrose has had the opportunity to be the Fight Director/Choreographer for Merced Shakespearefest, and has choreographed staged violence for Gallo Center Repertory Company, West Side Theater Foundation, Murphy’s Creek Theater, UC Merced, Delta College, Stanislaus State Theater, Valley Repertory Company, and various Central Valley high schools. Ambrose is a certified actor combatant with the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat and Dueling Arts International.

Kiara S.

Kiara is thrilled to be making her debut with the Valley Repertory Theatre. Though this is her first play, she has been acting since birth and is so delighted to make her debut on the stage with such a wonderful group of performers. Kiara would like to thank her awesome family for always believing in her.

Madelyn Childers

Madelyn is ecstatic to be making her Valley Repertory debut. In the past five years of living in Modesto, she has been seen in three YES Company! performances at the Gallo Center, her most recent one being Mamma Mia (2025), where she won the Melanie Wyatt senior award for being a leader and advocate for the performing arts. Today, she is entering her sophomore year at California State University, Chico, where she is earning her bachelor’s in fine arts in Musical Theater. In her free time, Madelyn enjoys going on road trips, singing, and furthering her education in theater arts. Madelyn would like to thank her mom for introducing her to theater and being her biggest supporter.

Zoe Ana Jepson

Zoe Ana is thrilled to be making her debut with Valley Repertory Theater. She recently finished a production of Beauty and the Beast as Mrs. Potts with Alegria Performing Arts Academy. She currently trains at both Alegria and 5678 Dance Studio. This July, Zoe Ana also graduated from the Rosicrucian Museum’s Junior Archaeology program. She aspires to make a debut on Broadway as well as pursue a future career as an archaeologist.

Jonathan Nathaniel Gonser

Jonathan is a local actor and singer, born in Redwood City, California. He is autistic and a heart transplant survivor. Almost 8 months before the transplant, he had a Make-A-Wish to meet Carol Burnett in 2010, and then went on to be ensemble in Annie before graduating from Ceres High in 2012. Offstage, Jonathan enjoys making TikTok videos, watching stage hits and now finally getting involved in local theatre as much as possible — because tomorrow isn’t promised. Jonathan attends Heritage Church every Sunday, and likes to collect movies, cool footwear, TV shows and mostly stage musical CDs.

Ishaan S.

This is Ishaan’s very first production ever! He wasn’t too thrilled about being a fairy at first, but he jumped in with a great attitude and had a blast through the whole experience. He really enjoys acting and thinks it is a lot of fun, even though it takes time away from his Fortnite games. He has made new friends and has made his mother super proud of the hard work he’s put into this performance. He hopes he can act again and do more plays.

Devi S.

This is Devi’s very first production ever! Her favorite part of performing in Midsummer is when she gets to giggle with her new best friend, Kiara, and run on stage as a fairy. She is very grateful for having the chance to be a fairy on stage and she is excited to perform for her family. She wants to thank Anthony Edwards for always keeping her entertained and sneaking her candy even when her mom has already told her no. She hopes to do more theater in the future with her mom and brother.

James

James is a talented young actor from the Central Valley. An actor, musician, and athlete, he has performed in productions for his school in Sleeping Beauty and the original production at the Gallo Center, What in Tarnation? He is honored to lend his talents to the Gaslight Theatre community!

Emerson

Emerson is 9 years old and excited to be entering 4th grade this fall. She has been part of Alegria Performing Arts Academy for three years, appearing in numerous productions, and previously starred as Alice in Alegria’s first summer production of Alice in Wonderland. She is also appearing as Mr. Wind-Up in Beauty and the Beast. When she’s not performing, Emerson loves creating art, crafting, and bedazzling just about anything she can. She loves theatre and dance because they allow her to express herself, build meaningful friendships with fellow performers, and, of course, sing all the high notes! One day, Emerson hopes to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional Broadway performer. She can’t wait to be part of this show for Valley Repertory.

Aizlynne “Onyx”

Aizlynne “Onyx” is a 12-year-old student at Alegria’s Performing Arts Academy Musical Theater programs. She is excited to have the opportunity to be part of another amazing show and can’t wait to see everyone’s hard work come to life on stage.

Alessia

Alessia is an 8-year-old student at Alegria’s Performing Arts Academy Musical Theater programs, where her love for the stage has continued to grow. Alessia enjoys expressing her personality through dance and performance and is excited to be part of this production!

Katie

Katie is in 6th grade and is so excited to be a little fairy in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In her free time Katie enjoys skateboarding, crafting and listening to music. She would like to thank all her friends and family for their support.

Giuliana

Giuliana is a talented 12-year-old whose passion for singing, dancing, and performing shines in everything she does. As a dedicated member of Alegria Performing Arts studio, she has continued to grow as a performer. She is delighted to be a part of Midsummer Night’s Dream and hopes you enjoy the show.
